KCR Ltd Recruits System Analyst/Database Administrator



 
Our client, an international construction company based in Nairobi, seek to recruit a highly motivated System analyst\ database administrator who posses an extensive background in oracle database, object oriented programming, software development lifecycle and a wide range of software technologies.

Job Skills

- Must have a minimum experience of 3-4 years in similar position.
- Familiarity with wide range of technologies.
- Minimum education: A Bachelor degree in computer science or related field.
- Minimum grade of C+ at O-levels
- Must have a concrete understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- An excellent understanding of database systems and very proficient with oracle.
- Advanced knowledge of Apache HTTP server.
- Good knowledge in ERP’S.
- An understanding of data protection issues
- Ability to program in many languages such as java, C++, C# etc
- Good experience with fourth generation languages (4GL) and object oriented programming.
- Solid understanding of business practices with fundamental understanding of project management methodology
- An understanding of Linux will be highly advantageous.

Personal Skills

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with business and technical team members across the organization.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and under pressure.
- Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
